Welcome to Soaring Eagles Taekwondo Academy
Our school is run by an awesome staff of instructors lead by Chief Instructor/Owner and 5th Dan Black belt Master Wayne Jones who founded
Soaring Eagles Taekwondo Academy in 1995. Our curriculum combines Taekwondo, Judo, Aikido, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, and Krav Maga techniques. All styles studied over a 31 year martial art career by Master Jones.
We are dedicated to providing a safe and family-oriented Martial Arts experience for students of all ages, creeds, and backgrounds. Our mission is to foster self-improvement and personal development through focused martial arts training. We promote physical fitness and positive social interaction in a courteous and fun atmosphere. Our greatest responsibility is to instill in our students a sense of discipline and a code of ethics to inspire them to lead exemplary lives as leaders in the community.
Students and enthusiasts of Martial Arts have many reasons for their interest in this and other martial art styles. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self-control to their lives; while others are concerned about safety and self-defense. Whether you are interested in our programs for mental or physical wellbeing, Soaring Eagles Taekwondo Academy offers a number of programs that will fit your developmental needs and your busy schedule as well.

SPECIAL EVENTS
New Year's Eve Parents Nite Out
On December 31, 2001, we hosted our annual all night
sleepover party. It was a great celebration for all the
children who came. Most did not get much sleep but they
had plenty of safe, clean fun. Next year look no further
than Soaring Eagles. Children get to stay all night and
have food, games, movies, and a sparkling cider toast at
midnight to bring in the new year. Also included was a
continental breakfast. If you missed it this year don't
miss it again.
Word of the Year
The Word of the Year for 2012 isDISCIPLINE. This word
is not new to SETA members because we discuss it all the time.
We are going to make it the theme for this new year because we
all need to tighten up our discipline in all areas of our lives.
There are many keys to being successful in life and Discipline
is the foundation for all of them. Hopefully you have set
your goals for 2012. Understand that it will take
Discipline and perseverance to attain your goals. When it
gets hard and you feel like you can't make it, don't quit.
Remember, you will prevail in 2012.
Student of the Month
This month our Student of the Month is Miss
Haley Dumas. Miss Dumas is a Jr. Blackbelt in our school
and recently participated in a very special charity event.
She along with others cut her very long hair and donated to
children suffering from cancer. In this day and age of
selfishness and me only attitudes, Miss Dumas left her comfort
zone to help others. Soaring Eagles Taekwondo family is
very proud of her.
Master Wayne Jones
Master Wayne Jones was recently selected as the Solano County CA, Mentor Volunteer of the Year for 2011. Master Jones participated in the Emerging Gentlemen program held at Franklin Middle School in Vallejo, CA, in 2010 and 2011. During the program the young men were mentored on how to meet and greet people, manners, leadership, dress for success, and respect. Congratulations Master Wayne Jones
